13 Dec La Pineta 2015 – 92+/100 by ROBERT PARKER
Here the comment of Monica Larner:
“The front label of the 2015 La Pineta displays the name “Pinot Nero” written in seven different languages. This is a Tuscan interpretation of a grape with wide-reaching international appeal. The bouquet is gorgeous, albeit still very under the influence of the oak. You need to give this wine a few more years to reach better integration. The mouthfeel is fresh and spicy on the tongue with flavors of spearmint and dried ginger. The effect is super intense and all-encompassing. This is a different expression of Pinot Noir for sure but there is something totally irresistible nonetheless.”
